Mike founded Verve Equity Partners with over 20 years of transformational experience as an operator, private equity executive, and management consultant. He served as a private equity operating partner and Managing Director of both The Gores Group and Tower Three Partners, with particular emphasis on Services, Communications & IT, and Leisure & Media. Previously, Mike was an executive of Hewlett-Packard as Vice President of Strategy & Development, with particular focus on their $16B Global Services division. He also co-led HP’s Corporate Strategy group. Mike held leadership positions in strategy and marketing at United Technologies’ Pratt & Whitney and Oclaro Corporation after serving as a management consultant with Bain & Company. He began his career at International Paper as an engineer and manufacturing production manager. Mike has actively served on several boards of directors, including both private and public companies.
Mike is a graduate of the University of Michigan College of Engineering and The Wharton School (MBA) of the University of Pennsylvania.

Barry D. Reynolds, Managing Director, Housatonic Partners
Barry founded the San Francisco office of Housatonic Partners in 1998. Previously, he worked with private equity firms including Bain Capital, Texas Pacific Group and Trident Capital, focusing on information and business services companies. Prior to becoming a principal in the private equity industry, he was a Manager with Bain & Company. At Bain, he co-founded the Principal Investor Services practice, consulting to medium and large buyout fund and strategic buyers. Earlier in his career, Barry worked as an engineer for the General Electric Company.
Barry is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was a Ford Scholar.
